Tucked away in a historic little nook in southeast Queensland, this property which includes a three-bedroom home and general store is for sale.
The iconic Nobby General Store is popular among locals, according to owners Michael Shepstone and Alyssa Hamilton.
The property, at 14 Tooth St, Nobby, is being sold by RE/MAX Success Toowoomba agent Gary Klein, who is asking for offers over $299,000.
The home is at the rear of the shop, located just a few doors down from the famous Rudd’s pub.
The store currently operates seven days a week offering take away food, barista coffee, convenience items, papers, magazines, Australia Post services as well as fuel.
Mr Shepstone said he had lived and worked there for more than 12 months and his family was moving to be closer to family.
He said he enjoyed the home and the idea of being his own boss.
“This place has a massive back yard, it’s great for kids and the dog,” Mr Shepstone said.
“I think it would appeal to a couple or family with older kids.”
